Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix Partners with MotorCity Casino Hotel

DETROIT – The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Grand Prix is proud to announce a partnership with MotorCity Casino Hotel.

As part of the new relationship, MotorCity Casino Hotel will become a key partner in two crucial elements of the June 1-3 event – entertainment and premiere hospitality. MotorCity Casino Hotel will host and manage national and local musical acts throughout the Grand Prix weekend at the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage on Belle Isle. In addition, the large, exclusive hospitality chalet located at the beautiful Scott Fountain that will host both individuals and corporate clients at the race, will be named the MotorCity Casino Hotel Club.

“We are excited to partner with MotorCity Casino Hotel,” said Bud Denker, Event Chairman of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. “They certainly know a lot about entertainment and being great hosts and they love Detroit with all that the city has to offer. We know our fans are going to love everything they experience both at the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage as well as the MotorCity Casino Hotel Club on race weekend.”

The premiere headline bands that will perform on the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage, located inside the Family Fun Zone at the Grand Prix, will be announced in the coming days.

Gregg Solomon, CEO of MotorCity Casino Hotel is also excited about the partnership. “This event is perfectly aligned with our brand of cars, music and sports. We view this as an opportunity to showcase racing and music against the scenic backdrop of the Detroit skyline. This combination will create an entertainment epicenter for locals and visitors to enjoy throughout the weekend.”

In addition to hosting the Entertainment Stage and the luxurious hospitality chalet area, MotorCity Casino Hotel will also be featured with turn and bridge signage throughout the picturesque Turn 13 along the Detroit River at the 14-turn Raceway at Belle Isle Park road course.
