Taylor, Mich., January 26, 2009 – Don Jensen and Greg Bower joined Atlas Oil Company in October of 2008; Jenson as Vice President of Supply and Bower as Bio-Fuels Business Development Director. Both are working out of Atlas’ Houston, Texas office with close ties to Atlas’ headquarters in Taylor, Michigan.
Jensen, with an extensive background in refined products trading, is overseeing Atlas’ optimization of supply among the Gulf Coast, Chicago and Canadian markets. Jensen has held positions as the Vice President of SemFuel, and Vice President, Petroleum Products Trading at Louis Dreyfus Energy Services (LDES). His career has also included work at Williams Energy Marketing & Trading and Conoco.
Jensen holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and a BS in Marketing both from the University of Utah.
Jensen and his wife reside in the Huston, Texas area.
Bower joined Atlas’ supply team to enhance the company’s bio-fuel business. Bower has a very strong background in the bio-fuels industry. Most recently, he was the General Manager/CEO for Mid-Missouri Energy and Director of Sales and Trading for Global Ethanol/Midwest Grain Processors in Minneapolis.
Bower holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, as well as an MS in Finance from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana.
Bower, his wife and three kids currently reside in Marshall, MO and will be moving to the Houston Texas area soon.
