IMAP Elects New Chairman

Detroit – IMAP, the exclusive global merger and acquisition partnership, announced that it has elected Scott Eisenberg as its new Chairman. Eisenberg and Gilberto Escobedo, the newly elected IMAP president, will succeed Sevket Basev, who previously served as IMAP’s chairman and CEO. 

Eisenberg is the founder and managing partner of IMAP Detroit (Amherst Partners). He has more than 25 years of experience structuring and negotiating transactions and advising companies on financial matters. His experience includes merger and acquisition transactions, restructuring and turnaround engagements, and a wide variety of management advisory services. Eisenberg has worked on over 75 investment banking assignments and has advised more than 200 manufacturing, service, financial services and technology companies.

He was named a Crain’s Detroit Business’ “40 Under 40” and a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007 and 2008. Eisenberg earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, his MBA in finance from Indiana University and is a CPA.
