Two New Attorneys Join Dickinson Wright's Troy Office

TROY — Dickinson Wright PLLC added attorneys Ari M. Charlip  and Amy Sabbota Gottlieb to the firm’s Troy office.

Charlip will practice in the areas of bank and real estate litigation and commercial and business litigation. He has broad experience in dealing with financial and real estate matters and assisting clients through the complicated litigation process. Charlip has handled litigation involving real estate lien priority disputes, mortgage fraud, judicial foreclosures, creditor bankruptcy services in Bankruptcy Court, construction liens, contested evictions (commercial and residential), and adverse possession issues. He represents title insurance underwriters, large financial institutions, mortgage servicers and corporations throughout Michigan. Charlip also represents clients in the gas and oil industry. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association and the Michigan Land Title Association, and he received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Sabbota Gottlieb will practice in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation, real estate litigation, lender litigation, creditors’ rights, workouts, restructuring and foreclosures. She has counseled and represented clients on matters related to the application of consumer finance laws, foreclosure, mortgage fraud, contract law, lien priority disputes, tax liens and title insurance. Sabbota Gottlieb regularly represents some of the nation’s largest financial institutions including banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, as well as title insurance underwriters. She is a member of the state bars of Michigan, Illinois, and New York. She received a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
