Farbman Group Partners with Local Pop-up Restaurateur at Fisher Building

SOUTHFIELD — Southfield-based Farbman Group, a leading full-service real estate company that manages the Fisher Building and New Center One in Detroit presents “Chartreuse,” Detroit’s twice-a-month, gourmet raw vegan pop-up supper and brunch club, on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Fisher Building. Andrew V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group, made the announcement.

Local pop-up restaurateur, Corinne Rice, a certified raw and vegan chef, is hosting the event to create “a memorable culinary social movement that exists briefly and disappears immediately, as if it were a dream.” The experience will include live music, as well as a video crew from American Hipster Presents, which will film the meal for its YouTube documentary series. The evening will feature a four-course, all-vegan dinner with menu items including an Asian salad, crab cakes, jalapeno-watermelon gazpacho and an almond nougatine. The public can win tickets to the pop-up dining experience by entering a drawing when they visit retailers in the Fisher Building and New Center One between now and Tuesday, June 19.

“Farbman Group is committed to doing our part to support the creative entrepreneurs that make Detroit a one-of-a-kind place to live and work,” said Farbman. “Guests will get to experience the grandeur of the Fisher Building while enjoying a culinary experience that is unmatched.”

Tickets are $50 and must be purchased by Tuesday, June 19 at www.chartreusedetroit.com. Complimentary parking is in the lot off of Third Street and guests can enter through the doors nearest the lot and head down the hallway to the atrium — where the pop-up restaurant is located.
