At Grosse Pointe Family Dentistry, Dr. Chris Panagos and Dr. Olga Panagos-Stathis practice family dentistry in the truest sense of the word. Since 1983, the brother-and-sister team have worked together to provide a wide range of services including preventative care, cosmetic smile makeovers, general dentistry, and emergency treatments.

According to Dr. Panagos, working together definitely has its advantages. “We use each other’s knowledge,” he says, “and we bounce ideas back and forth between one another. We both have areas we enjoy, and it works out very well that way. It’s definitely a team effort.”

The doctors employ a variety of state-of-the-art procedures. “The services we offer include implants, Lumineers, the Zoom2 whitening system, one-hour crowns using the CEREC unit, Invisalign to straighten teeth, and the use of a laser to assist in cosmetic and periodontal treatment,” Dr. Panagos says. “In addition to those services, we also offer things that other offices may not. We have several drill-less forms of cavity removal, as well as the ViziLite oral cancer screening test — which is of the utmost importance. After all, without a healthy mouth, you’re not going to have a healthy body.”

Besides focusing on patient health and education, Dr. Panagos and Dr. Panagos-Stathis also provide patients with aesthetically enhanced smiles in a comfortable atmosphere. “We emphasize preventive care and smile makeovers because beyond having clean, healthy teeth, we believe everyone can have beautiful ones, as well.
