"They like the new 3-D X-rays and the high-resolution camera that lets them take a tour of their mouth," Dr. Niazi says, adding, "I like these tools, too!" The Cone Beam 3-D images allow him to rotate in, around, and behind the teeth. It takes the guesswork out of intricate work like root canals and implants; once people take a tour of their teeth with the high-resolution intra-oral camera, it helps them better understand their dental issues.

Astonishingly, new Cerec technology allows Dr. Niazi to design and mill lifelike porcelain crowns in one visit. The latest Biolase i-Plus laser addresses the soft tissue in the mouth by eliminating gummy smiles and it also cuts more quickly into enamel, replacing a drill. The new Caries detector shows how extensive cavities are — the deeper the color, the deeper the cavity. At the Elite Smile Center, Lumineers, Invisalign, ortho- dontics, and Zoom bleaching are also popular requests.

Dr. Niazi has a loyal patient base and, once they’ve been a patient, many people travel great distances to return. "He has patients from Milwaukee, Canada, Grand Rapids, and northern Michigan scheduled for care," says his associate, Dr. Tejal Soni. "Not to mention NBA notables and public figures, as well as the many wonderful people he meets in this region."
