Brooks Wilkins Sharkey & Turco PLLC is pleased to once again appear in the DBusiness issue of top lawyers.

The firm was formed by Keefe Brooks, Matt Wilkins, Dan Sharkey, and Mike Turco two and a half years ago. Earlier this year, it significantly enhanced its depth by adding experienced market leaders Ed Kronk, Bert Donovan, Steve Ribiat, and Maureen Taylor. They, along with seasoned members Julie Kosovec and Paula Hall, make BWST one of the area's premier litigation and bankruptcy boutique law firms. To accommodate its growth, earlier this year the firm moved to a larger suite in Birmingham Place.

Each of the firm's principals is highly accomplished. Brooks, who is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers – an honor bestowed on less than 1 percent of litigators – has long been regarded as a "bet the company" litigator. Wilkins has more than 25 years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience, with special expertise in the automotive industry. Sharkey practices commercial litigation and has become a "go to" lawyer on supply chain issues. Turco has more than 16 years of extensive trial and arbitration experience in all types of business and construction disputes.

Donovan has focused his practice on automotive product liability, supply chain, and warranty and regulatory litigation and counseling for 20 years. Kronk, also a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, is one of the state's most respected and capable litigators. He often gets the call when the stakes are highest, and is a nationally recognized product liability defense trial lawyer. Ribiat concentrates his practice in business litigation and arbitrations and, for the past 20 years, has represented clients in real estate litigation, contract disputes, and intra-corporate shareholder/member litigation. Taylor focuses her national practice on product liability defense, complex commercial litigation, and class action defense.

The firm also includes four talented litigation associates: Brent Warner, Jim McAskin, Matt Letzmann, and Matt Dawson.
