Founded in Detroit in 1946, Buddy’s Pizza will soon add two more restaurants in the region. With nine locations today, Robert Jacobs, president of Buddy’s Pizza, says the company’s steady growth is driven by “consistency and quality.” In addition to introducing a new offering of thin-crust pizzas, Jacobs said it took two years of experimentation before gluten-free pizza debuted on the menu. “We have celebrities, sports stars, and everyday people as customers, that’s a winning combination,” he says.
