DETROIT — Powerlink, a staffing and facilities management company, has expanded its service offering to include a construction division and has opened a new satellite office in Warren.

“The move into construction is a natural evolution of our services,” said Powerlink President & CEO Link Howard. “We know how buildings run from the inside out and will use that expertise to lay the groundwork for each project’s long-term success. It’s exciting to see the demand for these projects grow in the city of Detroit and to be able to hire more people from the diverse communities where our clients do business.”

Leading the new division will be Kevin Ryan, senior vice president for construction, who brings more than 30 years of experience managing projects nationwide. He carries particular expertise in health care, commercial/office and historic renovations, driving construction from build-outs to $100+ million, multi-year projects.

Over the past two years, Powerlink has doubled its revenue to $23.5 million and added more than 200 employees, Howard said.
