BIRMINGHAM — ON GO Energy today announced that Ben Benjamin has joined the company as director of sales while Eugene Tennison will also sign on as the company’s national sales manager. The announcements were made by Derrick George, founder and CEO of ON GO Energy.
As director of sales, Benjamin will seek to create greater brand recognition for ON GO Energy, deepen market penetration locally and nationally, and meet with distributors and retailers.
As national sales manager, Tennison will develop account strategies for national chain accounts and establish and manage long-term, team-oriented relationships with distributors and brokers.
Prior to arriving at ON GO Energy, Benjamin served as the director of sales at Weeks Food Co. in Richmond, Mich.; sales supervisor, and later key accounts manager and regional sales manager, at Kar’s Nut Products in Madison Heights; district sales leader for Frito-Lay, Inc. in Sterling Heights; and operations manager at K&G Foodmart in Detroit.
Prior to joining ON GO Energy, Tennison served in numerous roles at beverage companies in Atlanta, including time as the regional sales manager at Sage Beverage, pre-sales representative with Pepsi-Cola and an account manager for Coca-Cola.
