Stars & Stripes Golf Open

REDFORD — The 2nd annual Stars & Stripes Open will be held at Western Golf & Country Club July 9.

The charity event is to support Major Dan Rooney, founder of the Folds of Honor and Patriot Day Golf. Rooney has raised money for scholarships for the children and spouses of American servicemen who have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The $125 entry per person ($500/foursome) includes lunch, golf, a dinner buffet, unique prizes, hole-in-one contests, and a silent auction that was one of the many highlights of last year’s events.

Sponsorship levels are available from $1,000 to $10,000.
