Pig & Whiskey Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House

Date

Jul 13, 2012 to Jul 15, 2012

Description

Pig & Whiskey returns to Ferndale for an entire weekend of outdoor fun. Metro Times is partnering with the Woodward Avenue Brewers (WAB) to close East Troy Street for this summer
event, which will be free to attend and open to all ages. After enjoying enormous success in 2011, the event has grown to two full days — July 14 and 15 — plus a “Pre-Party” on July 13.

Once again, Pig & Whiskey will showcase Southeast Michigan’s best barbecue joints as well as samples of the finest whiskey brands. Attendees will also enjoy stellar entertainment, such as Ty Stone, Electric Six, and The Hard Lessons, a bar highlighting original whiskey cocktails created by the area’s top bartenders, a large beer selection, a BBQ merchandise store, and an expanded game area. Rain or shine. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site. A portion of proceeds will benefit The Ronald McDonald House.
