Hour Custom Publishing – Account Coordinator

Hour Media’s thriving Custom Publishing division is seeking a dependable, organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to provide quality customer service. The selected candidate will be responsible for trafficking display advertising for multiple publications and for performing other sales support and account duties in the Custom Publishing department, based in our Royal Oak office.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of advertising, marketing communications, or publishing experience
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • A pleasant telephone manner and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and InDesign

Account Executive

Hour Media is seeking pro-active, energetic advertising sales account executives to manage many categories - you must be resourceful, independent, focused, and well-organized individual.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire sales process from incoming lead to close.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements with regard to print advertising.
  • Present and articulate the value of branding in an upscale environment.
  • Ability to sell and differentiate in a competitive environment.
  • Close sales and achieve sales quotas.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years media or like sales.
  • Strong sales and presentation skills with a proven track record.
  • Ability to develop key client, agency and industry relationships at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with a serious work ethic.
  • College degree preferred.

New Business Development Representative

Hour Media in Royal Oak is seeking a pro-active, energetic salesperson to spearhead new business development in our thriving Custom Publishing division. This position is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new custom publishing clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of multimedia sales experience and/or ad agency new business development experience calling on senior level decision makers at medium to large size companies and organizations. Wimps need not apply.

Office Assistant (Full-time)

Hour Media is seeking a detail-oriented, energetic office assistant for our circulation department in Troy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry in system database for subscription orders across all Hour Media titles
  • Fielding calls/emails/web orders from potential & current subscribers
  • Processing payment for all subscription orders under a strict deadline
  • Managing/balancing multiple USPS & UPS accounts
  • Sorting/creating/maintaining multiple excel documents and reports
  • Other general office duties
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate is organized, courteous and efficient.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a customer service related field.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Excel preferred.

This position is full-time.
