Hour Media, the publisher of Hour Detroit, DBusiness, Detroit Home, Metro Detroit Wedding magazines and more, is proud to offer a sales and advertising internship for the fall 2016 term. Ideal candidates will work a minimum of 20 hours per-week. Schedules are negotiable, but a three-month commitment is required. Interns must be enrolled in a university, however the intern does not have to be receiving credit to be eligible for the position.
Interns will assist the advertising director and the publishing and sales coordinator in day-to-day departmental functions including, prospecting potential clients, updating and managing Hour Media’s sales database, tracking sales and surveying results, working closely with account executives, assisting with events put on by Hour Media and more.
Requirements: Qualified students will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Hour Media offers its interns substantial projects and significant opportunity for skill-development. We are looking for hard-working individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are willing to take on new tasks. Professionalism and responsibility are a must.
