About Champions of the New Economy

Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, in partnership with DBusiness magazine and News/Talk 760 WJR, announces Champions of the New Economy.

This exciting new program will identify and recognize business leaders and individuals in metro Detroit who are moving southeast Michigan's economy forward.

With the goal to inspire growth in our region, every month, a panel of qualified judges from WJR, DBusiness, and Junior Achievement will select a Champion of the New Economy. That person will be introduced on ChampionsoftheNewEconomy.com, interviewed by WJR Business Editor Tom Campbell, and DBusiness Editor R.J. King. The Champions will then be profiled in the May/June 2010 issue of DBusiness magazine.

The program will culminate with an event in May 2010, which will provide access to metro Detroit business leaders working together to develop southeast Michigan.
