Crosson Holdings in Farmington has acquired Wolverine Flexographic, a manufacturer of printing presses. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Wolverine Flexographic, founded in 1945 and also located in Farmington, manufactures inline and roll-to-roll printing presses. The company uses American-made parts and each press is custom constructed from standard components.

“This is a company with many proud traditions,” says Patrick Crosson, chairman of Crosson Holdings. “From its customer service dedication to providing the highest quality presses, parts and support services, staying true to its values has gotten Wolverine Flexographics to where it is today. We plan on continuing down this path while also positioning the organization to grow.”

He says Crosson Holdings plans to reorganize Wolverine Flexographics’ plant to provide greater workflow efficiencies and expand inventory. Five new staff members have been hired, and the company is working on an e-commerce site, which will eventually allow customers to purchase products ranging from parts to entire printing presses.
