Consulting Firm O’Keefe in Bloomfield Hills Promotes Chulumovich, Montague, Smuts

Bloomfield Hills-based O’Keefe, a financial and strategic advisory firm specializing in enterprise consulting, litigation support, strategic advisory, and turnaround and restructuring, announced the promotions of Keith Chulumovich, Katie Montague, and Anson Smuts.

Chulumovich has been promoted to managing director. He is focused on strategic and operational planning, executing financial goals, business analysis, financial reporting, process improvement, and financial services. Chulumovich’s industry experience includes leasing, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and real estate.

Chulumovich is a certified public accountant. He is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Montague has been promoted to senior associate. She specializes in preparing financial analyses for use in litigation support assignments, including shareholder disputes, automotive recalls, and bankruptcy matters. She also provides strategic advisory services to struggling companies, most recently serving as a financial advisor to the creditor committee for a large bankruptcy filing in Wayne County.

Montague is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Montague is a member of the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. She serves as chair of the TMA Network of Women and is a member of the TMA Programming committee. Montague is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and serves on ACG’s women forum committee.

Smuts has been promoted to director and senior economist. He identifies strategies for business growth and development. Smuts has assisted clients with post-acquisition disputes, business valuations, financial budgeting and projections, damages in multiple matters, employment matters, and fraud investigations.

He is a member of the National Association of Forensic Economics, Turnaround Management Association, Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Smuts is a certified management accountant, certified fraud examiner, and a certified valuation analyst. He is currently a board member of the Detroit Chapter of Turnaround Management Association NextGen.
