Ann Arbor’s Oxford Companies Thursday announced it has acquired 777 E. Eisenhower Parkway on Ann Arbor’s south side. The 10-story, 290,000-square-foot building is one of the city’s highest-profile office properties. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Cincinnati-based Buffalo Wings and Rings Looks to Open 30 Metro Detroit Locations

Buffalo Wings and Rings, a Cincinnati-based franchise, plans to open a location in metro Detroit within the year and expand in Michigan over the next five years. The sports restaurant franchise has 80 units worldwide and has grown significantly since its establishment in 1984.

ACC Civic and Humanitarian Awards Gala

Troy’s Arab American and Chaldean Council hosted its 39th Annual Civic and Humanitarian Awards Gala on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. The event celebrates the ACC’s establishment in 1979 and honors individuals who are visionaries in their respective areas of work. The gala attracts nearly 1,000 guests.

Metro Detroit Home Permits on Pace for Second-Best Year Since 2006

A total of 503 single-family permits were issued in Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne counties in August 2018, according to a new report from the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan. This is more than the 440 permits the association’s econometric model had forecasted.
